Wind Residences condotel in Tagaytay is an ideal choice for a staycation or if you're looking for a private accommodation while you're out and about in Tagaytay.
The Wind Residences are clusters of condominiums developed by SMDC and ideally located along the Nasugbu-Tagaytay highway, in front of Dahon at Mesa restaurant. And just a few distance from the Sky Ranch.
Open view of Taal Lake at the veranda
Most of the units of these condominiums are converted into condotels where guests can rent the entire space during their stay. It's a great choice if you come as a group or as a family of five. You can enjoy your privacy because the unit comes with a conducive living room, one bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a five-seater table.
It also has a nice veranda where you can have your coffee or breakfast while basking at sunrise. And yes, a great spot to watch the sunrise!
Taal lake is a relaxing sight to behold as the day breaks. A terrific way to relax your tired senses while marveling at the stunning Tagaytay vista.
If you decide to cook during your stay, the unit has kitchen wares, utensils, a rice cooker, and an induction cooktop that you can freely use. It also has a refrigerator to store your food.
We booked our one-night accommodation at 1723 unit, Tower 5 of Wind Residences through Agoda. However, you can arrange a unit reservation through a direct booking with the unit manager, Ms. Wennie Javier. Her mobile number is +639679077014. She very accommodating and very friendly. 🤗

Downside: Wind Residences come with a swimming pool amenity near Tower 1 but it is not free to use by guests. You need to get a voucher worth Php150.00 for one adult to use the pool.
We were not able to go swimming (even if we planned to) because we did not tell our host ahead of time that we want to hit the pool.
We couldn't secure a voucher during our arrival because it was Saturday, and the office was already closed and no office hours on Sundays and holidays.
View of Taal from the bedroom
If you want to go swimming during your stay at Wind Residences, you need to tell the host ahead of time so that she or he can secure vouchers before your arrival.
The swimming pool is not yet operating at night time so far. So night swimming is not possible. It's open from 7:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening only.

Tips going to Wind Residences: If you are coming from Manila, board a bus going to Nasugbu, Batangas, and tell the conductor or the driver that your destination is SMDC Wind Residences. They will drop you off right in front of the condominium.
In our case, we disembarked at the Olivarez terminal and hired a tricycle for Wind Residences and the fare was so expensive! The tricycle driver asked for Php200.00
Requirements: As of September 2022, they will only ask for a vaccination card for fully vaccinated travelers and one government-issued identification card.
